Over the last 16 years I have worked as a Art Director (senior graphic designer) in the publishing industry, including BBC magazines and, most recently, The Daily Telegraph where I was the Commercial Creative Director. Having recently moved to East Sussex to raise my young family with my husband, I decided to hang up my corporate shoes and follow my passion in photography. I would describe my photography style as relaxed and informal.
For weddings, I like to document the whole day, with my style of reportage-style photography. This enables me to capture all the important moments as well as the essence of the occasion.
I visit the wedding venue before the big day and then meet you to introduce myself and talk through suggested shots and ideas from my location visit.
I am happy to travel anywhere in South East England and London to shoot weddings.
There are two ways in which I photograph children. The first is on location in a natural setting, either in a home environment or outdoors. I live within ancient woodland and welcome clients to use this beautiful setting.
The second way I shoot is using a stylised, controlled approach, resulting in a sophisticated image. Both approaches can be seen in the 'portfolio' section.
Currently I photograph children in my own home, where I have a range of backgrounds and an amazing woodland for outdoor shots.
